Student Spotlight: Jin Lee

STUDENT NAME

Jin Lee

GENRE

Jazz / Rock / Blues

Today I want to introduce you to a student of ours by the name of Jin Lee.

Like many of our students he felt frustrated by his current progress on guitar and was stuck in this “more information = a better musician” loop that many people find themselves in.

He found us on Instagram when one of our mentors, Rotem Sivan posted about an open spot he had in an upcoming cohort and Jin learned he could get one on one mentorship with him through our program.

Fast forward 3 months and his results have been nothing short of remarkable.

Check out this video he made for his final project after just 12 weeks of working with us.

To be fair, Jin Lee really showed up!

He showed an incredible degree of focus throughout the entire program and his results speak for themself.

With help from his mentor, he was able to set clear goals, focus on the objective he set for himself and really hone in on the practice routines that would help him achieve those goals

Every time he was offered feedback from his mentor he applied the advice and then went above and beyond and did more.

He was constantly hungry for more information and allowed his mentor to consistently push the edges of his abilities.

Here’s what Rotem Sivan had to say about working with Jin Lee during the 3 month  program.

Jin Lee is a perfect example of what success looks like when you apply yourself and follow our approach.

He utilized the tools we offer, showed up with consistency and reaped the rewards of a well thought out practice plan, consistent action and the accountability of a mentor.

Ultimately, we see our relationship with our students as a partnership, we can provide a phenomenal container for growth, the crystal clear path, and the framework necessary to excel, but it's on the student to show up, put in the work and receive the benefits.

We believe it's possible for any student to achieve the kind of progress that Jin saw in his time with us.

If you feel inspired by Jin’s story, and you're ready to push yourself to new heights on the instrument, consider applying to our next cohort.
