Student Spotlight: Grace

Student Name

Grace Rolland

Genre

Singer/Songwriter

Today I'd like to introduce you to a singer/songwriter based out of Mesa, AZ who joined the GMI group program a few months ago.

Her name is Grace Rolland.

She's been playing since the age of 12 and came to us with a deep desire to move forward in her skill as a musician.

She had grown tired of always relying on the same "fall back" positions to the guitar and was looking for a clear, structured approach to deepen her understanding of the instrument.

There was a lot of basic knowledge that she was missing and hadn't been able to figure out on her own.

Our program is designed to help students "fill in" this knowledge gap and create a personalized practice routine to meet their individualized goals.

Within the first month of the program she saw dramatic improvement.

With consistent practice not only is her physical body more capable of playing the instrument of guitar but she knows her 5ths, she knows her 3rds, she knows the shape of the intervals, and how to position her hand to reach them as she moves around the fretboard.

She's more at ease with the guitar and well on her path to fretboard fluency.

Great job Grace!

Keep it the good work.
